SMDP 2006: saying hello

Hi all!

It has been more than a month since we ended our Harvard Business School programme. I am Fazlur Rahman from TM. I have been in contact with our class monitor, Sharifuddin and agreed that we should maintain contact with alumni members.

I have set up a mailing list for SMDP 2006 alumnis for us to keep in touch. Not all members gave their email addresses, but we do have some 84 email addresses out of the 91. You can find the mailing list at -
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smdp2006/

I will be sending out a Yahoo!Groups mailing list invite so please do read thru the standard Yahoo! invitation and follow the instructions to register with the mailing list.

Anybody been through a business re-engineering project?

I was wondering if any of you have gone through a business re-engineering project.

Pls share your experiences and learnings. How was the project managed and what were the outcomes and benefits.

smdp2006, website and mailing list objectives?

I would like to have some feedback on the objectives for the following:

In determining the objectives, we should also bear in mind on how we should use the website and mailing list.

I have not yet figured out how we should use both the mailing list and website, so looking forward to your discussions. Let's discuss this here so as not to clog up everybody's inbox. The mailing list would serve as a notification tool. I am sure that Sharifuddin and some of you here have more thoughts to share.

SMDP 2006 Contact list

For your convenience, I attach the full softcopy of the SMDP contact list.

The design of this site

I adopted a ready made design for this website. There were not many suitable designs I could choose from. The layouts of this design seemed alright, although I would like to change the colours and the logo design.

What do you all think about this?

So anybody who has some expertise in web designing, feel free to volunteer to help improve the look of this place.

How is everybody?

Hi all,

How is everybody these days? A bit of what has been happening to me: there were some organisation changes announced during the middle of our SMDP. Since returning to office, I have been involved in adjusting to these changes. As a result, I had not been able to setup the forum for the SMDP 2006 alumnis... although I had initially promised to do so.

I took huge liberties to "name" our SMDP group the SMDP2006. I had thought of using HBSACM SMDP 2006, or having the name Harvard somewhere in the name, but thought against it for a few reasons. So anyway, I hope you are all ok with SMDP 2006.
